The Uganda Journalists Union (UJU) is the sole Trade Union of all unionisable journalists in Uganda. It was officially registered by the Commissioner for Labour Dr David Ogaram on June 25, 2006 as the 22nd Labour Union registered in the country under the revised Labour Unions Act 2006.

Covid 19: Health of workers is key

Since the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, health authorities have been urging us to pay attention to our hand hygiene and for good reason, my appeal to workers is be conscious of the guidelines sent by the Ministry of Health to help to prevent the spread of infection.
